Continuity's Extremes
Air Force and Army sit at the top of the country in returning production, 92% and 91%, which matters most for option-heavy attacks that live on timing and chemistry built over years, not months. Georgia landing among that top group at 69% is the more notable case since it pairs veteran continuity with SEC-level talent, a combination most rebuilding rosters cannot match. Maryland and Hawai'i round out the four teams keeping at least 70% of last year's production back, giving each a head start on installing wrinkles instead of rebuilding a base. UConn is the outlier in the other direction, returning just 2%, which means its 2026 season opens with almost no on-field carryover from a year ago.
