East Carolina (No. 68), Navy (No. 69) and South Florida (No. 73) are bunched so tightly that any of them could swap places, but our projections still land East Carolina opposite Tulane in the title game. Memphis lurks just behind that pack at No. 74, close enough to crash the party, while UTSA, Army and North Texas round out a bottom tier that projects out of the race entirely. This is a two-tier league: Tulane looks like the team to beat, and the real fight is which of East Carolina, Navy or South Florida claims the other title-game spot.
