About National Football League

National Football League (NFL) is a football league of 32 clubs playing the 2026 season. The league is split into the American Football Conference and National Football Conference, eight divisions in all. A full NFL season is 17 games for each club, running from September to February. 14 of the 32 clubs reach the playoffs, so a 2026 season is as much about surviving the schedule as winning any one night of it. The divisions are AFC East, AFC North, AFC South, AFC West, NFC East, NFC North, NFC South, and NFC West. Every club's schedule, roster and results live on its own page, and the standings on this one link straight to them.

The Ravens hold the best record in the league at 2-0. Leading the other divisions: the Bills in the AFC East at 2-0, the Titans in the AFC South at 2-0, the Broncos in the AFC West at 1-1, the Cowboys in the NFC East at 2-0, the Bears in the NFC North at 1-1, the Buccaneers in the NFC South at 2-0, and the Rams in the NFC West at 2-0. The AFC North is the tightest race on the board: the Ravens and the Bengals are level at 2-0. At the other end of the table the Seahawks sit at 0-2, 2 games behind the league's best record.

In the most recent round of games on August 23, the Titans beat the Seahawks 19-16, the Cowboys beat the Cardinals 34-13, and the Buccaneers beat the Chiefs 16-15. Next up on Thursday, August 27, the Steelers visit the Bills, the 49ers visit the Raiders, and the Patriots visit the Browns.

Coverage runs on every NFL game rather than a selection: a preview before kickoff with the line and the matchup keys, a recap after it with the final, the box score and the standouts, plus a weekly rundown of where the 2026 season stands and breaking NFL news as it lands. Follow any club above and both land in your inbox, free.
