A Brutal NFC Gauntlet

The NFC West alone stuffs the top of this list, with the Cardinals drawing the league's hardest slate at No. 1, the Rams checking in at No. 5 and the 49ers right behind at No. 6. That is not one tough team catching bad breaks. It is an entire division colliding with a brutal 2026 map. The NFC East adds its own weight, with the Cowboys at No. 2 and the Commanders at No. 3, while the Chargers stand as the lone AFC outlier at No. 4 among the six toughest slates. The Saints get the opposite problem entirely, drawing the softest schedule in the league at No. 32.
