Rams Rule the Preseason Ballot
Myles Garrett takes defensive player of the year honors, and it barely feels like a stretch given how disruptive he has been off the edge. Jaxon Smith-Njigba grabs the offensive award, a signal that Seattle's passing game runs through him now. The Rams and Lions tie for the most first-team spots with four apiece. Los Angeles gets there through Matthew Stafford, Garrett, center Coleman Shelton and receiver Puka Nacua; Detroit answers with Amon-Ra St. Brown, Aidan Hutchinson, Jack Campbell and Devin White.
| Position | Player | Team |
|---|---|---|
| QB | Matthew Stafford | Los Angeles Rams |
| RB | Jonathan Taylor | Indianapolis Colts |
| RB | Bijan Robinson | Atlanta Falcons |
| WR | Jaxon Smith-Njigba | Seattle Seahawks |
| WR | Puka Nacua |
