Top-Heavy at the Top
The AFC South and the NFC West both stack three teams apiece into the top 10, making them the two divisions to beat. That splits the AFC's own hierarchy in half. The AFC East still lands two teams in the elite tier, but the AFC West and the NFC North each carry only one, and the drop-off is real. The AFC North is the outlier with zero top-10 teams, a stark gap next to its rivals up top.
