About Single-A

Single-A (A) is a baseball league of 30 clubs playing the 2026 season. The league is split into six divisions. The divisions are California League North, California League South, Carolina League North, Carolina League South, Florida State League East, and Florida State League West. Every club's schedule, roster and results live on its own page, and the standings on this one link straight to them.

The Crawdads hold the best record in the league at 73-47. Leading the other divisions: the Giants in the California League North at 72-50, the Tower Buzzers in the California League South at 66-56, the Nationals in the Carolina League North at 72-49, the Hammerheads in the Florida State League East at 60-60, and the Tarpons in the Florida State League West at 71-49. The Florida State League East is the tightest race on the board: the Hammerheads and the Cardinals are level at 60-60. At the other end of the table the Shorebirds sit at 42-80, 32 games behind the league's best record.

In the most recent round of games on August 26, the Tower Buzzers beat the Ports 13-9, the Grizzlies beat the 66ers 8-7, and the Quakes beat the Storm 14-1. Next up on Thursday, August 27, the Threshers visit the Flying Tigers, the Mets visit the Tortugas, and the Mets visit the Tortugas.

Coverage runs on every A game rather than a selection: a preview before first pitch with the line and the matchup keys, a recap after it with the final, the box score and the standouts, plus a weekly rundown of where the 2026 season stands and breaking A news as it lands. Follow any club above and both land in your inbox, free.
