Tennessee freshman Ralph Scott will miss at least six months after undergoing left knee surgery, coach Rick Barnes announced Wednesday. Scott, a 6-foot-8 forward, was scheduled to have surgery Thursday.
Scott had been expected to reach the court in a few weeks before the injury, according to Barnes. The coach said the surgery is necessary for Scott to get healthy and expressed confidence in his future with the Volunteers.
Scott is from Bermuda and was No. 70 overall in the SC Next 100 for the class of 2026 out of IMG Academy in Florida. He was selected for the Team World Roster at the 2026 Iverson Classic 24K Showcase and was the MVP at the 2025 Basketball Without Borders Americas camp.
