Powell Homers as Tourists Hold Off Grasshoppers
Caden Powell went deep in the first inning and drove in five runs to lead the Tourists past the Grasshoppers on Monday. Powell's three-hit performance powered a Tourists offense that out-homered Grasshoppers 3-2 and seized early control. The Tourists improved to 43-85 while the Grasshoppers dropped to 80-50. The teams meet again on Saturday.
