Dash surge past Emperors in 8-2 rout
The Dash put together a dominant performance against the Emperors, cruising to an 8-2 victory. The go-ahead run came early in the top of the 3rd when Jeral Perez singled on a ground ball to right, scoring Bryce Eblin and putting the Dash in control. Nick McLain provided the offensive punch, finishing 2-for-4 with a home run and an RBI. The Dash continue their road series Saturday when they visit the Emperors.
McLain's homer and the Dash's overall offensive output made the difference, as they out-hit the Emperors 11 to 6 on the night.
With the win, the Dash improved to 73-56 while the Emperors fell to 59-68.
Perez's go-ahead single in the 3rd set the tone early, with Eblin crossing the plate to put the Dash ahead for good.
