Luke Shaw missed the session at Carrington with the full-back on a designated rest day. Rashford has made three appearances this season, starting United's last two games against Ipswich and Everton.
Manchester United face Sabah FK on Thursday in what will be their first Champions League fixture since December 2023. Carrick's team have a quick turnaround with Manchester City visiting Old Trafford on Sunday.
