Mykhailo Mudryk will be sidelined until at least October after suffering an ankle injury in training, sources told ESPN. The 25-year-old is wearing a protective boot on his left leg after the setback, which occurred earlier this week.
Mudryk made his Tottenham debut on Saturday as a 74th-minute substitute in a 0-0 draw at Nottingham Forest, following a deadline day loan move from Chelsea. The appearance was his first since November 2024 after a dispute over a positive test for banned substance meldonium led to an initial four-year suspension, which was resolved in July.
Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi worked with Mudryk at Shakhtar Donetsk and is hopeful of reviving the winger's career. The loan move contains an option to make the transfer permanent for £75 million.
