The Pittsburgh Pirates announced that shortstop Konnor Griffin's major league rehab assignment has been transferred from Double-A Altoona to the Triple-A Indianapolis Indians.
The move comes as Indianapolis prepares to open a six-game road series against the Toledo Mud Hens, the Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, on Tuesday.
