The Boston Bruins have signed forward Fraser Minten to a seven-year, $50.4 million extension.
In his first full season, Minten had 17 goals and 18 assists. He was fifth on the team with 142 hits. He was acquired from the Maple Leafs in the Brandon Carlo trade in March 2025.
The 22-year-old led all NHL rookies in plus-minus last year at plus-21. He slotted into the third center role most of the season and got occasional time on the second power play.
"Since joining our organization, Fraser has continued to grow and earn the accelerated trust of his teammates and coaching staff," Bruins general manager Don Sweeney said in a statement. "His hockey sense, competitiveness, responsible two-way game, and offensive growth make him a valuable player for our group.
