Mason Marchment has signed a five-year contract with the San Jose Sharks, valued at approximately $35 million, or $7 million per season. The deal was finalized shortly after the NHL's free agency opened on Wednesday at 12 p.m. ET.
Marchment, 30, joins the Sharks after a season split between the Seattle Kraken and Columbus Blue Jackets, where he recorded a total of 15 goals and 32 points in 39 games. He previously achieved a career-high 53 points with the Dallas Stars in 2023-24.
