The New York Rangers are finalizing a trade to send forward Vincent Trocheck to the Utah Mammoth, according to sources. In return, the Rangers will receive defenseman Sean Durzi, prospect Cole Beaudoin, and a third-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft. Trocheck, 32, has three seasons remaining on his contract worth $5.625 million annually.
Trocheck scored 53 points and had 193 hits in 67 games last season, and was a key player for Team USA during their gold medal run at the 2026 Olympics. The Rangers have been working on this trade since last season, and Trocheck's departure follows a retooling announcement by GM Chris Drury.
