Former Cal State Bakersfield assistant basketball coach Kevin Mays was sentenced to four years in prison after accepting a plea deal on charges of pimping, possessing youth or child pornography, and drug possession while armed. Mays, 33, will also be registered as a sex offender for life and received a sentence reduction of 660 days for good behavior and time served.
The investigation into Mays began last year following an anonymous tip about his alleged trafficking of a woman across multiple states. Police discovered 28 videos depicting sexual conduct with a minor on Mays' phone, and he was found with weapons and drugs during his arrest.
