Free agent wide receiver Stefon Diggs is set to sign a one-year deal worth up to $12 million with the Washington Commanders. This acquisition provides the team with a proven receiver to complement Terry McLaurin, who faced injury challenges last season.
Diggs, 32, has been a four-time Pro Bowl selection and was a first-team All-Pro in 2020. Last season, he caught 85 passes for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns with the New England Patriots before being released in March. His addition addresses the Commanders' need for receiver depth, especially after McLaurin's injury struggles last season.
