Premier League clubs release 2026-27 kits
Premier League clubs have released kits for the 2026-27 season, which kicks off on Aug. 21 after being delayed by a week. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur were among the first to unveil their new jerseys, with more expected to follow in the coming weeks.
The kits have been ranked and rated across home, away and third designs. Newcastle United's home shirt drew criticism for its Doppler-effect stripes and bright blue sleeve detail, while Nottingham Forest's design was inspired by mist from the River Trent and features a mottled graphic effect. Fulham's offerings included a basic template in white, black and red for the home kit, and a pale blue and pink third kit with lurid trim.
Everton's home kit is a plain royal blue with amber-yellow trim, described as bland. Brighton & Hove Albion's away kit was criticized as an unimaginative colour flip of the home design, while their third kit features a deep teal and turquoise colourway inspired by Brighton pier. Chelsea released its home kit in early June, featuring yellow ornamentation and an oversized lion emblem.
Tottenham's home kit continues a series of similar designs since Nike took over in 2017, with navy trim and diagonal hash marks. Manchester City's home kit features a gradient design fading from sky blue to white, intended to encompass every shade of blue worn in the club's 140-year history as well as early 20th century white kits. Ipswich Town's away kit reworks their classic cream 1996-98 design with fine dual tone pinstripes.
