LAFC signs forward Armindo Sieb from Bayern Munich

LAFC signed forward Armindo Sieb from Bayern Munich on a permanent transfer, with the deal running through the 2028-29 MLS season and an additional option to extend through 2029-30.

Sieb, 23, spent two seasons on loan with Mainz, where he recorded five goals and three assists in 62 appearances across all competitions. He also featured for Greuther Fürth in the 2.Bundesliga, netting 17 goals and four assists in 66 appearances over two seasons.

Internationally, Sieb has represented Germany at the U16, U17, U18, U19, U20 and U21 levels. LAFC President of Soccer Operations John Thorrington said Sieb's "technical ability, pace, and attacking prowess will add another dimension to our attack."

LAFC is in second place in the Western Conference with 34 points from 19 games and competing to reach the knockout round of the 2026 Leagues Cup. The club holds seven points in the Leagues Cup after one win and two draws, with an additional point earned in a penalties victory, and awaits results from Austin FC and Chicago Fire FC to determine advancement.
