Ipswich Town have signed Exequiel Palacios from Bayer Leverkusen on a deal whose terms were not disclosed. The 27-year-old Argentina international is Ipswich's 11th signing of the summer transfer window.
Palacios won the Bundesliga with Leverkusen in 2024 after joining from River Plate in 2020. He was part of Argentina's World Cup-winning squad in 2022 and has 41 caps for his national team.
Ipswich's other summer signings include Julio Enciso from Strasbourg, Emersonn from Toulouse, Abdul Fatawu from Leicester, Abdoul Ouattara from Strasbourg and Florentino from Burnley. Palacios told club media he was excited to play in England and compete against top clubs and players.
