Eric Bieniemy returns to Chiefs after wife's shooting

Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy returned to the team on Monday after a two-week absence due to the shooting of his wife, Mia. Bieniemy missed 11 practices while supporting his wife, who was hospitalized after allegedly being shot by their son, Elijah, at their home.

Mia Bieniemy, 57, was hospitalized on July 26 and is in stable condition after being shot in the chest and arm. Elijah Bieniemy, 27, has been charged with malicious wounding and other firearm-related offenses and is being held without bond.
