Darrell-Hicks named Indians August Player of the Month

Indianapolis Indians right-hander Michael Darrell-Hicks was named the club's August Player of the Month. Across nine relief outings this month totaling 11.1 innings, he has not allowed a run, striking out 14 batters while holding opponents to a .154 average (6-for-39).

Darrell-Hicks joins outfielder Ronny Simon, who earned the honor in April, among the Indians' monthly award winners this season.
