Cowboys, Quinnen Williams agree to three-year, $105.9 million deal
The Dallas Cowboys and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams have reached a three-year extension worth $105.9 million, as reported by sources. This deal includes $101 million guaranteed, with $63.35 million guaranteed at signing, and a signing bonus of $31.85 million.
Williams' annual average of $35.3 million ranks as the second highest among defensive tackles in the NFL. He was previously signed through 2027 under a four-year extension worth $96 million with the New York Jets, but this new agreement extends his contract through 2030.
The Cowboys acquired Williams from the Jets at last year's trade deadline in exchange for a second-round pick in 2026, a first-round pick in 2027, and defensive tackle Mazi Smith. In seven games with the Cowboys last season, Williams recorded 20 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
Williams is a four-time Pro Bowl selection with a career total of 342 tackles and 41.5 sacks. He was named a first-team All-Pro in 2022 after achieving a career-best 12 sacks. He becomes the fourth defensive tackle to secure a deal averaging over $30 million per season.
Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones highlighted Williams' impact on the practice field and his leadership qualities. The team has also successfully negotiated extensions with several other Pro Bowl players over the past year.
