Tigers at Royals

Kansas City pulled away with a go-ahead run built on Detroit's own mistakes, and Isbel made sure the lead stuck with a two-RBI homer. The Royals out-hit the Tigers 10-6 and took the series finale 5-2. Detroit still holds the edge in the season series at 6-5. The two clubs meet again Saturday, with Detroit visiting Kansas City and Kansas City hosting Detroit.
The go-ahead run in the fourth came off the Tigers' own miscues, with Pasquantino scoring on an error and Massey reaching on a fielding error by shortstop McGonigle.
Isbel led the way for Kansas City, going 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI.
The Royals out-hit Detroit 10 to 6 to move to 56-74 while the Tigers dropped to 61-67, though Detroit still leads the season series 6-5 heading into Saturday's rematch.

We ranked every clip from this game by how much it swung the win probability, kept the biggest, and play them back in the order they happened. Pick any play to jump straight to it.
Ranked by win probability added: how far each player's plays moved this game's odds, not how their box-score line reads. A single with the bases loaded in the ninth outranks a home run in a blowout, because that is what actually decided it.
